Burris' Box Office

Picture

Thank you for visiting my page.. After 18 years of teaching, I have transitioned out of the classroom into a new position as Math Interventionist. My job is to diagnose the problems that students have in math and try to assist teachers in fixing them through the use of a variety of techniques. One of the biggest misconceptions about math is that it's hard, but it's not.  Math is just a process, and I truly believe anybody can succeed in it with the right tools. We are born to be Math Stars! One day we will sit in the Hall of Fame where the whole world will know our name.   Lights! Camera! Action!

Now Learning
We are building number comparison, math facts, and math computation fluency skills. Once we are fluent in these areas, we can focus on more complex skills.
