The 2018-2019 school year is off to a great start!!! I'm thrilled about where our learning journey will take us as we analyze, synthesize and evaluate "the rigor".
Discoveries Unlimited classes have begun!! Here are a few things students will engage in during the first few weeks of classes:

After rigorous mini-lessons, modeling and clarification of expectations, students should be able to say I CAN:
  • Maximize my understanding of D.U. expectations
  • Differentiate the bright child verses the gifted learner
  • Gain insight on the components of creative thinking, the qualifications of the D.U. program and the importance of being a model student
  • Value the importance of using Kagan strategy PIES in cooperative learning groups
  • Formulate ideas when problem solving using the higher levels of thinking and life's experiences
  • Justify the importance of creating and leaning educational chants

Please send the Discoveries Unlimited Information sheet to me as soon as you can. The Discoveries Unlimited fee is $10.00.

Here's our first Brain Teaser of the year:
Luke had it first.
Paul had it last.
Boys never have it, but girls have it once.
What is it?
Let me know if you think you have solved it lol.
